Mother2Hens- I just want to thank you for taking the time to post this information. I think its really amazing how someone comes here in need of info and everyone jumps in to help solve the various issues. Even if its not my chicken this time, Its such good information.
Well hopefully I won't be kicked off the site for copyright infringement, but I figure I am promoting the owner of this site's "Chicken Health for Dummies" book, which I ordered from the BYC site. I've scanned some pages, but many of the pages can be found on the Internet.
If you message nifty-chicken, that will cover you

jchny~ I thought you just had the two big dairy goats. Where did the pygmy come from?
LOL, it is the original owner's pigmy buck. But this baby is not a Pygmy cross, its huge! Sugar had a very hard time delivering it. I know the lady had her hands full of life events at the time, and I think her Oberhasli buck got to Sugar's stall. They can easily jump a 4ft gate, and especially a buck wanting to visit a doe... Its 5 month gestation, and her lil pigmy was 4 months in may when i got sugar. (I emailed her and got more info) Bucks can breed at 2 months, but that was not enough time between then and now. its not possible. So the father has to be the oberhasli! But we won't be selling her, she is not related to Bo, so now I will have 2 does to breed/milk. I named our precious lil doeling Sophia after my grandma.
