Oh we could do that most of my addiction is hatching. Believe it or not, I'm shutting the incubator off, didn't put any eggs in last week, So in 1 week it will be empty !!!!

thank you all about the nice remarks of our EE cockrel. Still no crowing or other roo tendencies yet @ 17 weeks . . . . & is still bossed around by our 18 week old red sexlink pullets

love the sunflowers around the coop. i have some planted on the west side of the main run. The egg song is getting old hand around here lol. Here is so often we don't even run every time anymore. Here's a couple pictures from this morning. The girls really like the tall grass in the foreground, and the bushy area in the background. Finally killed all the wild grape vines in that area. One of our sunflowers is almost 10 feet tall.

I know of a lavender orpington cockrel available up my way .
looks very nice in the pictures ive seen - we almost had gotten him, but decided we didnt think a 2nd roo would work out for a small flock of 8 birds.

I've had great luck with his eggs and he's from southern Indiana. I could remember if it was you who has bought from him in the past or not
