That's when I hit Profile....this is when I hit Edit

And this is when I hit preferences:

Nowhere does it give me the option t go to desktop mode nor change avatar.

Quote: I'm not close to you by any means, but if you are looking to add production birds. They are on sale at ideal, the black sex linked ones are 1.8 each if 25 are ordered. Maybe a few others could split an order with you. Production birds have a nice purpose in any laying flock when eggs are needed.

Guess what... It didn't work! How on earth do I put in an avatar? I'm so frustrated!
Personal opinion only. But if you are getting frustrated why not visit a library and upload the picture there. I'm thinking if you add up driving time 60 minutes round trip, maybe 20 minutes if you load just the picture at the library so a total of 1.5 hours including getting coats and boots on.

There is the other side off my phone should be able to do this, I paid a mini fortune for it and the monthly charges. But why get stressed over a tiny picture.

I have the picture on my phone. It isn't a matter of uploading the picture. I don't have an avatar : ( . I have been trying to load a picture as an avatar but there doesn't seem to be an option for me to do that like everyone else can. I don't have a computer, I access this site from my iPhone.

My next less stressful solution:
change your BYC password to a temp one something easy to remember.
next pick someone on here that uses a computer or already has their picture in the avatar spot.
Ask them to get your picture into your avatar spot. If they agree send them the temp password and the picture you want as your avatar.
Once your picture is in place, change your password again.

pginsber ~ I knew I shouldn't have started naming names! I woke up in middle of the night and thought, "I didn't mention toodlesmom or Renae or ---- or -----!"

I hope you are certified as an avian vet! lol
Delawaremommy ~ So Petrie can stand on her own? Can she take a step?
Petrie is standing on her own. She uses both legs equally and can walk. This afternoon when I went to put them up from foraging she was behind the chicken house just standing on the compost pile. I am on my way to get some vitamins/electrolytes from TSC and will bring her in the house for tonight to watch her more closely and make sure she stays warm.

Here's keeping my fingers crossed!!

I got my first American Bresse pullet egg tonight! I'm pretty impressed with these birds. At 19 weeks, they are big and active, with huge red combs, nice thick white feathers and pretty blue legs. The next time I'm home during the daytime, I'll try to get some pictures to post on here.

Strange question, but are there any hippie styled members out there near Bargersville that are good with children. We are in need of a back up sitter. Our standard sitters of my parents just won't do for every occasion. It would be great to find someone close to us willing to come to our home watch / play with children and possibly even check on chickens if needed too.
