Quote: Thanks! I wouldn't mind another jenny if she is as sweet as Daisy, or even a gelded fella. My free range flock has been very safe since Daisy came here. She is such a sweetheart, I adore her. Planning ahead, I want to find someone with a mini Jack to be able to breed her, when its time. No way will I think about keeping a Jack myself, its more than I can handle. Bocephus is almost too much! I have to make sure anything that comes here is very human imprinted for my parents safety.
Just love Fanny, cow kisses are sloppier than a bloodhound tho LOL! She will nuzzle up, lick your face if she likes you, and ugh the smell of cud!But I love her attention. I keep very hands on especially with any of the girls that are expecting. Makes birthing easier. Fanny seems to be wary of strange men she doesn't know I've noticed. I had friends visit that were on vacation and she loved the wife. Very standoffish to the husband first few minutes, but she seemed to pick up he was "ok" once I went into the pasture with her. I gave him bread slices to share with my mixed herd. After a few treats, he was blessed with cow kisses too! I find it very interesting how animals show their opinions without saying a word. They also tell us a story about their life, even when we really don't know their history.![]()
