Well, it has been an eventful week. Apparently, I have not gotten notifications. I think it has to do with the posting algorithms. Lol

Anyway, we put down our sweet 13 yr old schnoodle (schnauzer poodle mix) this week. He was in pain and had difficulty breathing. It was a hard decision for me. But, my hubby is the voice of reason.
Barkley has a nice resting place amongst the trees and a huge boulder. There is a trickle of sunshine raining down on it too. He was a one of a kind dog. Aren't they all?

So sorry for your loss. That's always a tough choice to make, but it sounds like you did right by him.

LOVE collies! My mom had a collie kennel when I was almost too young to remember. They lived here on the property I'm on now. We had Tri color and sable and white. When I was older I got shelties since we already had two tri color collies at the time and my mom said I had to get a small dog. So a sheltie it was! I've always loved the sables that have a lot of black masking on the back. Since my first, I've had 4 shelties. No dogs now...it's been since 2007 I think, since my last sheltie died.

That's how we got our Sheltie! We had 5 kids, a tiny house, a Flat Coated Retriever, and when I wanted a second dog, it had to be a "small" one.

Three babies out as of this morning! I think that's going to be it, as the fourth egg appears to have quit. Not really sure what happened, as I've never had so many quitters from my own girls' eggs. But three babies is better than none, and they are THE CUTEST!! Not many pictures yet because they're still hanging out under the EcoGlow recovering from hatching, but here's what I've gotten.

The EcoGlow makes for some adorable shots.
