INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Very cool.  We're we supposed to laugh?  Not sure if it is polite to do that, but we did laugh out loud. This is before she laid the egg?  Too entertaining!  Love  the leg lift at the end and the toe pointing!!  Can't wait to hear our girls songs!!

 Honestly, it took a lot of restraint on my part not to be laughing in the background through that whole video.

This was before she laid her egg, yes. Some of my girls are even more noisy about it than Biddy, and some make hardly any noise. I have two very dramatic white Easter-eggers that must have everything just so for their egg-laying endeavors, and then my red sexlinks go in, lay their eggs, get out, and I hardly know anything's happened.

Ok guys! I'm panicking right now. I checked on the chicks this morning and Annabeth is missing! The garage has been closed up tight all night do I don't think anything got her. I think she escaped the brooder but I can't find her. It got quite chilly last night and I'm worried she got to cold wondering the garage! Any tips on finding her?!?!

I had that happen a couple of times. I had to search the garage and nook and cranny. I also threw out some corn on the floor to maybe lure it out.

We think we can hear some muffled human laughter towards the end lol. About how old is the star of that little video?

The cold killed one of my white frizzles and my black sizzle over the night. I had them closed up so the cold wont get to them as much but with them still getting their feathers in again, i guess it wasnt warm enough for them.

I let another one out when that happened to me and they found each other pretty quick after the second one did the lonely chirps

Wow how old were they? Sorry about the loss.

I guess I did the right thing last night when I made sure they were all in our coop and I closed the windows and pop-door. My DW thought I was being over protective. It got down to 40 or so here last night, but I would've thought they would be ok outside in the bushes or wherever they would naturally roost, at 10 weeks old like ours are.

Again, sorry about your loss.

Im not sure how old they are i got them not to long ago from a swap meet. They had lost alot of feathers due to molting and fighting. They was roos. I had 3 of them in one coop but they grew up with each other and never did fight with each other. I am down to only 1 white frizzle roo. I am glad i didnt loose all of them. They was in the nest box when i found them.
