INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

CRSelvey~ Glad to hear your blue girl returned! Did she just show up or did you find her somewhere?

TooFast~ Thanks for the Tech advice! It's working today. I have a iMac, so if they updated something that's probably why mine changed and wasn't working.

Mr. Tattoo~ Leahs Mom is a great resource for health issues. Hopefully through your exam of the chicken, you found clues.

Here are two links for looking at chicken poop:

Loving the colour (vickichickie reference) in your posts again, Mother!
When leaving for work today I walk outside to get in my car. All of a sudden heard a squawk and see the chickens running like crazy. Next I see a hawk swoop down about 15 ft away from me! It lands in a bush and I run at it yelling. It flys to the other end of yhe property. I turn around and another swoops down and flys over to the other hawk! Needless to say the chickens are locked up today.

Wow, 2 hawks in the yard. Glad the girls are ok!
I have a spare male guinea, if you want it. Free. Great early warning device. Probably not worth the drive, though.

I keep a shotgun by the back door and a .22 rifle in the barn, just in case. Warning shots only, of course.

John
Of course.

Warning shots.

I fire warning shots at my DW all the time, but no response.

my newest little surprise fluffy butt keeping up with the big chicks at one day old! I candled the last egg and it looks like it actually pipped inside. I'll give it another day.

Anyone want to help me decide which two pictures to enter for the BYC calendar? (I'm pretty sure the first one is going to be one of my entries. ;) )
