INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Get
I may also have 4 naked neck hens that are going on 1 yr old. They are black, gold laced, silver laced, and one that's silver laced like with red. $10 each. Also have a tolbunt polish roo who doesn't have enough black. Also 1 yr old. $10 for him. I don't interact with him much but for the most part he has a decent temperament. I do recall him trying to attack the shovel when I was tryping to collect eggs. I make no guarantees on temperament. If really interested I can get in the pen with him and see how he does.
I sent you a pm with pics, but here they are if anyone else is interested

I have white chinese geese already laying/breeding i have 2 pairs for $45 a pair and the extra ganders are $15 each. I also have 3 drake ducks 1 khaki 1 cayuga and 1 2nd gen golden hybrid (looks like rouen) for $5 each. All birds are free range and all together we have chickens, ducks, geese, guineas and a turkey all running together so they are all used to other birds as well as dogs, cats, pigs, and horses.
Willing to trade for a pair of Narragansett turkeys (will consider other heritage breeds as well) pair of either american buff geese or pair of pilgrim geese or possibly saddleback pomeranian geese. Also interested in muscovy hens ( prefer chocolate but will consider all) or mille fleur d'uccle bantam hens and possibly 1 roo. Let me know if interested or what you have :) Can email [email protected] to get quick response.

Are salmon faverolles usually this different in coloring at one month? I have two that are pretty dark, and one really white one with full feet, the other two either have new plumage growing or hardly any at all, they were all supposed to be pullets

unless they are sexlinked its usually just color variations of breed

They won't all look alike. If they did breeding would be a breeze, and the "perfect" chicken would be achieved lol. They will vary a little. Some will be a little lighter, some a little darker. There color may also change a little when they molt. My LF girls molted out a lot of black (they were HQ). In my experience HQ faverolles have a LOT of black.

I know you can't see it very well, but this girl had a lot of black all over and she pretty much molted it all out, except for in her beard. Her color is still not good, but it shows you how much a few good molts can change the color.

Ok, thanks for that info, this is my first try with this breed so I'm still learning! :)
