Well, I have some "cute" ones too, but there's only a very small handful I wouldn't ever put on my list for the freezer! LOL I'm thankful for this thread.

I've been through slaughtering before when I was a teenager, but not sure I could do it myself. I'm more interested in someone who's willing to come to my place and take about 1/3-1/2 of my birds processed as payment or someone I could pay a reasonable fee to do it for me. It would be so very well worth it to me!

BTW - all my ALL my chickens are free-ranged on chemical-free acreage and supplemented with organic feed, BOSS, fruits, and veggies.
