Indoor Ducks!

AmandaVirginia, I don't doubt you. As Miss Lydia said, we have seen some sad stories. But you may have one of the dogs who is a gem. We have read those stories, also.

While I would like to have a dog someday, our current animal and space constraints mean we need to wait. But I would hope we eventually find one protective of both the cats and the ducks. We'll hope for the best.

Meanwhile, I remain the LGA.

So long as you raise the dog from a pup with the ducks and cats it will love them. If you get a more loyal dog it will protect them as though they are its own pups. The reason pit bulls and other fighting/aggressive breeds fight is because that is all they know what to do. If you raise them right they will channel all their aggressive energies into protecting you and your pets.

They'll most likely eventually go outside with our other 3 call ducks, I just think it would be super fun! They'll be raised inside AT LEAST for their first month (how I did it with our other 3), maybe even for their first few months though! Our outside set up is beautiful and I know how much they'll love it, as our other 3 already do, so out they'll probably go at some point! Haha, @maxsgoldens very cute! Seems like a very sweet pup! :)
