Infection in leg from pellet gun

Yeah, Guineas are pretty tough. And, it's not like he has organs or a lot of muscle there. If nothing else, TPlush could make it a little hammock with feed and water available. No walking required.
I doubt the guinea would stand sitting still for that long, though.

Maybe a epsom salt soak and vet wrap with some antibiotic ointment will help Not the kind with cains (pain reliever) in it. Thats a no-no for all things fowl. Im sure antibiotics wouldnt hurt either. If the bird was mine I would cage it so easy access to treat , restricted movement. soak it couple times a day. Thats about all I got.

I can get a picture tomorrow. We got our chickens from a neighbor. Usually we let them in a fenced in area to roam during the evening, but decided to let them have some new ground that wasn't fenced in. They wandered to the yard they use to live in and she was being stubborn in a tree. Long story after trying alot of options they tried what they believed was a BB gun but had a pellet and had a little more power than intended. She is moving from spot to spot in the coop and has been able to walk up the ladder in the run (on one leg). The amount of swelling in the foot looks painful and I hope the little things isn't suffering

Sounds like a tough little thing. I know you're probably sitting in bed, but now would be a good time to catch her and put her in a dog crate or the like. I wouldn't want her jumping down from the roost on that bad leg.

I wouldn't want to do this myself but keep in mind that you may have to put her down but let's hope not...:fl

Tell me if im wronge but...
So your neigboor was trying to get the chicken off their property and so they decided the best way after trying for a while was to shoot it???
