It's less than what I give mine, but probably okay if it seems to be working. How is her eye?

Swelling has gone down... Especially on that inner eyelid. I can finally see the eyeball. Pretty sure she's blind in it as it looks discolored.

keep cleaning it and pray. there is still hope! some eye drops/ointment will help too. chickens need more time to heal than people do. good luck!

There might be a tiny bit of pus but it's not hard like that other stuff was. I'll try tonight to get it out. I couldn't get it out yesterday. I've been using the Tobramycin eye drops hoping that will flush it out too. Also, her egg she laid the other day was before she got any oral antibiotics. All she had was ointment and eye drops... is there a withdrawal period on those? I know there is on Baytril.

Wish I would have seen that a few days ago! I'm cheap but for God sakes get a scalpel! TSC sells a six pack of them. That blade/box cutter could harbor anything! JS
