It looks like Superman of the future will be an Asian. Do you think he can fly through the sky with all of that gold? When the Chinese really dump the dollar, there will not be enough gold in Fort Knox to save us.

You better start learning Mandarin so that you can talk to your new land lord.

Too true.

Superman was never an American anyway, he's a dual citizen of Krypton and Earth. He just happened to land on a farm in the US, and get raised by the Kent family. I mean, come on. For a super-being representing a whole 'nother solar system, perhaps galaxy, to come to Earth and be considered a citizen of one little country on Earth? Get real.

He might of been born on Kryton, but he was raised in the US, which made him a US citizen. So he didnt get his green card or get naturalized, I think after living here for as long as he has, he is grandfathered in. <g>

Diesel is 4.02 here.. or at least it was last week.. not sure now.. .lol.. I went to the grocery store yesterday and got almost ALL fresh vegitables and spent $50! My hubby and I are trying to get our garden put together.. Imagine my grocery savings!

I dont know if it is just the Brand I am buying for my babies but my Starter feed is only 4.99 for 25lbs. Whether that is expensive I havent a clue as I am new to the chicken world..

Gas is just shy of 4 here. Worse part for me is im only working weekends and people tip their waitresses much crappier with the cost going up on everything. My hubby at leasy has a semi stable job. Long as the company doesnt go down we are set. Of course saving money is how i convinced him to let me have my chickens lol

Our feed prices have been shooting up here lately. Unfortunately the oldest business in Tennessee, St. Johns Mill, is closing. They're cheaper than TSC on almost all feed products. I guess I should stock up now.

Dog food and cat food that I buy just jumped $2.00 each so everything is on the way up. I am going to be checking into some different feeds when I go to a bigger town every other month to see if I can find a better food at a better price.

LOL - Sounds like that radio interview I heard of some chick who wanted to get some of that "free Obama money". When she was asked by the radio host where the money was coming from, she said "I don't know... his stash... it's Obama money!"

And these people vote for our elected officials.

Frankly, I think it should be a requirement to pass a written test IN ENGLISH before you can vote. If you don't know how our government works at all, and don't know where "Obama's stash money" comes from (THE TAXES OF PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY WORK!!!!!!) then you should not have any input into the choice of our leaders. Sorry, you're just too stupid.

Most horses don't need alfalfa hay. Good quality grass is all they need. My Amish neighbors only feed quality grass hay to their horses and they work. I have seen as hay prices have risen how horse prices have dropped (except for the best of the best).
