i recently bought a month old black copper maran rooster and didnt think id like him but hes a awesome bird and my favorite he always runs up to me unlike his pullets and has a vocabulary of noise different from his pullets. i read marans eat alot and he does, anything edible he'll eat at anytime! And very curious with everything i do in his area. cant wait to see how he is as a flock protector, id like more information on the maran breed from someone on BYC, cant find much online
