Injured baby chick

14 day old chick - yesterday somehow chick was injured - 1/4 inch of lower neck has no skin all the way around. Part of area is dry, part still moist. Chick is healthy, eating and drinking Flew ! out of box where I put him to keep him warm. Any medical advise or how to treat this area, how to handle chick. Vitamins - Neosporin creme?

Can you take hime to the vet?

A neosporin cream wouldn't hurt.
Try and keep it clean and maybe it will heal up on it's own.

Adding vitamins to the ater would also help.

Is it possible that the others picked at him? Regardless of ho it happened, I would separate him from the others until he is healed. Put neosporin on ir and give him vitamins. As laong as he is eating and drinking he will probably be ok. If you don't have any chick vitamins, get some children's polyvisol (with no iron) and dribble a few drops on his beak every day.
