Injured Chicken’s Poo question

Hello Chicken Family...
I have a question for you all... we had six chickens and lost five of them to a predator from a windstorm that blew a branch through part of their yard. Our sweet New Hampshire had her back torn a bit, but after a continuous ointment & bandage regimen, she’s now doing much better. Question I have... she is eating, drinking, and getting back to herself after her scary ordeal a couple of weeks ago, but I am noticing that her poo is really watery. Could this be due to stress/anxiety from the incident? She really is doing so well and is getting back to her norm... just wanting to check with those that may have more experience with this aspect. Thanks!

I'm glad your hen is recovering nicely. You're correct, watery diarrhea can be caused by stress, as well as many other things. Give her plain boiled white rice mixed with buttermilk to eat for 3 days, make sure it's cool enough for her to eat. It should stop the watery diarrhea.
Also, dont give her treats after the rice and buttermilk regimen, just plain layer feed.
If she continues with the watery diarrhea, I recommend getting her started on SMZ-TMP, it could possibly be a bacterial infection causing the diarrhea.
