Injured duck - Leg Was Tied - Photo attached

Oh that's her trying to scratch herself. Usually around the ear/eye/neck. She does it on the other side no problem. I'm impressed that she has that much mobility where she's even trying to do that. She was doing duck yoga and putting that leg straight back while she was in the tub too.

That sounds promising. Bless her heart. I was thinking she was trying to scratch Sounds like their is still blood flowing it is just so swollen poor baby.

We will see what tomorrow brings. She's eating, drinking and even preened after her bath, so that a plus. The best I can do for now is keep her cozy clean and safe. Poor gal.

Thursday Update: Still swollen, though maybe it's wishful thinking, but I think the swelling has gone down a bit. She ate and drank this morning and when I went back inside to grab her some lettuce I left the kennel door open. She was almost out of the kennel when I got back.

Tonight she'll have a swim in the tub and I'll swap out her bedding. Vet Appointment tomorrow afternoon.

it looks like you caught her just in time

Sounds encouraging for sure. Can she put any weight on her leg? and don't forget when using Epsom salt don't let them drink the water it is also a laxative besides helping with swelling and Inflammation.
