About a month and a half ago my Silkie hen was attacked badly by an opposum while protecting her chicks. I got the opposum. One side of her face was tore up and it completely scabbed over. The scab finally lifted last week and she is acting and looking much better!
Now that she can open it, I am concerned about that white part in the injured eye. I don't think it's infection but I'm not sure and I'm not sure what else to do for her. She does act happy and fine considering the trauma. I'm hoping someone can tell me what's going on with it and what to do.
