Injured Goose

I'll throw out a name suggestion: how about "Latimer"?

Well, CRJ,

I think that Spaz or Flip

, as rolickingly comedic as they are, just confirm and perpetuate the consciousness of his current malady. I looked up Latimer, and it connotates living for 100 years in health and abundance. While Latimer may well not be the wonderful name for him, at least we should choose one that affirms his return to a healthy and correct state of being. LOL!!!!

I supose Albert it is then. He must be feeling a little better because he bit the heck out of my hand yesterday and tried this morning when feeding him. It's not always easy to force feed a goose. It's messy too. He was trying to run from me yesterday too. OMG, he's so easy to catch because he will crash.... lol. Getting back to his fiesty ways. I'll eventually get him calmed down.

He stayed upright most of the day. I think I only had to flip him over 3 times. That's not bad. He is watching all the birds so I hope he catches on to the behaviors. What I think I may do this afternoon is clean his ear. I looked in it alst night and it seemed fine but something may be lodged inside. I'll just try a little warm water and see if that helps any. If he does have an ear issue that would explain the lack of balance. I shouldn't get my hopes up since I'm sure his ear is fine.

thats good that your checking out every angle though, and so happy to hear Albert is doing better. My gander is not too nice this time of year and when i walked past him yesterday he got me good on the uppper part of my thigh, pinched the daylights out of me. thats when i feel like slinging him down to the river, but I didn't just laid him down on his belly till he gave up.. grrr. they almost feel like teeth when they bite with those serated bills they have. Are you going to keep Albert for good?

How's our nasty tempered sweet little Albert doing today?
