Injured wild duckling?

I work at a pond in NY where lots of ducks live, and they like to come up and visit and maybe get a handful of cracked corn, but two days ago one of the ducklings that comes with it's mother and siblings has started limping and walking on what I think is called it's "hock"? It can still swim but it has a very hard time walking, and I don't know if i should intervene and take it to a wildlife rehabilitation facility. What should I do? Help!

I wouldn't intervene, but that is me. I am sure you will receive lots of different advice on the situation. If you want to intervene, contact a wildlife rehab first and see what they say.

Welcome to BYC..
You might could call a rehaber and see if they will meet you at the pond and at least take a look. That way if nothing needs or can be done you wouldnt risk removing the duckling from it mother unnecessarily. And if it needs attention they would be able to catch it safely and care for it.
