Those darn dogs! Better wake them up and put them to workI slept fine until about 1:30 a.m. Woke up, saw the smaller dog on the bed staring at me, told her to go back to sleep, and we both did.
At about 3:30, the big dog barked downstairs, the small dog leaped off the bed to join him, I launched myself out of bed -- fearful that they were hearing coyotes that I wasn't. I ran outside, did a kitten census and am now up and wide awake. The dogs, of course, are sleeping.
