Luke you touch people in so many ways. I feel blessed to have found this post today. We all are not only lifting you we are carrying you today. It is rare to find a young person now days that has such passion and dedication that you do. I am sure God will lay his hand of healing on you cause he knows those boys and this world needs you, not to mention you dog and chickens

Prayers and thoughts you way. I wish my boys would have had a teacher like you then maybe they wouldnt have struggled as much as they did.

Thanks all. After three weeks I was discharged from the hospital. I am so glad to be home, but WHEW, so tired!

The dog and chickens were all happy and healthy (I'll need updated pics of my flock....they're not babies any more). And the funny thing is I made my way from my car directly to the coop.

I have to rest, rest, walk, take meds (Over 40 per day) and rest some more, which is what I plan on doing.

I may be out of work for quite some time (which is disheartening for me) and they've talked about dispersing my classes to other teachers (which will also be a hard pill to swallow).

But, I go for a follow up this Friday and I will learn more about how work will work then.

WHEW! Thanks for all the love and comments!

Time to take care of yourself for a while. Glad that you are home. Continue to recover and then back to work. Good news!

So glad you are home, sorry about your class - love the video vocabulary, especially provoke. I will be sharing this with fellow teachers.
