Yep, I'd keep at it...no sense in putting it off.
Hopefully they can get on well enough to range all day and go to their separate coops at night......I'd keep Surly(perfect name!) confined 24/7 for a few days so she can't interfere.

I just managed to close the little chicken doors to the run with the A-Frame with the 3 BO's, including Surly, inside. So they are officially segregated together. Tomorrow I'll let the 4 chicks in with the other 5 hens and see how that goes. The BA's are next in the pecking order, but I think they'll be okay.

Oh boy. This is going to be fun.
