Interested in geese

They do not. They are seasonal layers and lay only during their breeding season, which is usually early to late spring.
 
If you're looking for eggs, I'd recommend ducks. I think they have a longer laying season, and they lay a bit more than chickens, as I've heard? Their eggs are also larger, and some people swear tastier/less allergenic.

Some are definitely better for laying. There are hybrids like golden 300s made to lay a lot of eggs. Then you also have heritage breeds like Welsh Harlequins and Indian Runners that lay well if you want to stick to a real breed and not a hybrid.
