Well the most famous one I know of is methane gas from cattle. What private firm would fund that and then do it again and again. The whole global warming thing for example, what exactly will we do if they ever prove it is human caused? or if it is a natural occuring phenomenen? I mean really what will we do? go live in teepees or caves? There is ample evidence that smoking is bad yet they still study it at the government level and yet some still smoke, the government still profits from the sale. Tabacco companies studies all lean toward it being not that bad for you or they did in the past. I am sure I can find more but it seems as with me also that posting links to studies is IMO a waste of time because there is always enough evidence to support doubt and I am really not trying to change anyones mind here that would be taking this whole chat thing to seriously. Life is too short for that.

I was actually hoping for links to studies. Can you find a study for methane gas from cattle? Or just an opinion from a company? People knowing tobacco is bad and yet still choosing to use it is not the same as contradictory evidence.

I'd really like to see the the studies on the same topic with opposite results and conclusions.
