Very nice.

I am addicted to this hobby.

How big are your air holes? How many?

I'm thinking that MAYBE there wasn't enough airflow in my incubator for The Lone Ranger. I'm not positive but maybe.

Looks very good though Shmoo...

thanks... i have one air hole as of now.. but i am going to add two more... i was gone at the beach this weekend and my dad said he had it all stabalized..but when i got home the humidity was over 90 and there was water beads everywhere,,,... arggg! pluss temps were a little to hi like 100.7 and i really want to get it doun in the 99's zone.... i guess its another day of watch the bator and see what happens.... plus.. i havent heard from the gal that i sent the momey order for eggs to.... and shes sopose to ship monday.. but if she dosent get it by then then im gonna be delayed in my hopes for hatching..

I've found that two holes on each side, and two of them being low and two being high, has helped with the stabilization. We drilled holes big enough for wine corks, and just plug/unplug them as needed. The one that seems to cause the most variations in humidity is the one right in front of the fan... drawing that fresh dry air brings it right down when it's too high.
Looks very nice! Will there be a barrier between the lightbulb and the chicks? Don't want them getting too close to the light!

You're addicted, aren't you? Wait until you get your first hatch in there... there's no saving you, then... bwahahaha!

LOL... yeah.. i have some hardwire cloth that im gonna put in and i will definatly put a plugger right beside the fan.. great idea..lol and i still need to get my turnner in..

Thanks.
That was definitely the problem in my homemade 'bator.
I will have to enlarge the vents and add one to each side. I do have plenty of corks.

My humidity was WAY high during the hatching period. I think I may have had a chubby chick that couldn't get out.
I must be honest, I couldn't push myself to open the shell.

Next Sunday when my eggs begin the hatcher-stage, I may leave most in the LG and place two in my homemade 'bator just to experiment a bit.

ok.. so i think that i got the bator stabalized good enough for now.. its jumping between 98.8 and 1oo.8 so i figure the avrage is fine.. wheeeeeeww... now i just have to weight for eggs and im good to go... i hope...thne they still have to hatch.. i will post pics when eggs get here.
