Interior Coop Pics

My roost and poop board. The door below it opens for easy cleaning. I place cardboard on the poop board and when it gets too dirty I replace it with new cardboard.

The birds love looking out that window while they are roosting. Here is a picture of my feeder and nest boxes.

And of course my automatic door I installed so I can let the birds out in the morning with my remote control from inside my house

We have eight hens. We have two roosting bars -- one is the width of the coop (4') and is over the nesting boxes. The other is "L" shaped and about 3' by 2', and is lower. For a while, all eight tried to fit on the 2' section of the lower bar. Now, all eight use the longer higher bar.

Oh good to know. We have 6 hens and are doing a 4' bar. So that should be plenty of room?

I like the remote control idea. I assume the person who lies in bed in the morning and opens the pop door via remote is male? J

Here is the inside of my new coop.  Just put the girls in a couple of days ago.  I used vinyl flooring on every surface, even under the roost bars for easier cleanup.  The box is for supplies.

I LOVE your coop! Great imagination all around. And thanks for getting the pix bigger. The thumbnails definitely didn't do your coop justice.
