I will try to get my hands on her and get a good look. Thank you!

Chooks man, it looks soft grey to me. There is a white wing feather. Here is a picture. I think I am going to put her in the laying pen. I have others.

I don t think mixing a white and a silver is a problem .

Cross your lavender roo to BC hen ,you ll get F1 progeny all black if your lavender roo is uniform lavender .
mate the best cockerel and the best pullets from those F1 together and you ll get F2 progeny . 25% of them will be Isabel . lavender body with a yellow hackle . so if you want NN than Isabel is not good color pattern ,because they ll have not hackle and they ll look like a straight lavender .

Silver NN you have is a good thing .can be used .

if you want to breed the NN ,than stick to a uniform body color , no point working with a hackle ,because is not going to be there .only body color .

you need genes like Barring . cuckoo or barred
genes like buff or Red they have the Db good for pattern
mottled chicken

I meant I don't see difference between white and silver. I think silver is white, lol.

if I find barred or mottled NN she will be mine for sure. but people here usually have recessive white and black. I have seen some white with black markings, would it be silver?

I have been going back and forth on these two. The youngest is about 5 months and oldest about 7 months. That is just a best guess though. Not the best pictures. First 3 pictures are of the oldest Cockerel white leg band. Last 3 pictures is red leg band. They do not have names yet.

I wish I was near you. I would help you with extra roo, lol.

here how many varieties { color pattern} I can make out of one pair of chooks I have ,first they have a long growing to do .

Cockerel = Crying Wolves
View attachment 1610841
and Black copper pullet = Matanushka
View attachment 1610842

I can make =
1- Columbian
2- Birchen
3- Black copper
4- Wheaten
5-Silver wheaten
6- Black Tail Buff
7- Golden quail
8- Silver Quail

all those varieties are possible to be bred from Crying Wolves and Matanushka . nothing will be added to the mix .4 to 5 years of strict selective breeding and they will all breed true .
what make that possible is a presence of Dark Brown genes Db ,the Silver genes S and the Black copper pattern ER.

Chickengr f you want to breed any of those pattern you need to add a buff and a silver hens to your flock .

this post helped me a lot. I went to the chicken market and got a gorgeous greek hooded cockerel. he is white (silver?) with a trace of barring, incomplete columbian and has some black on his wing tips + black tail. I am going to work with this breed as well. I have a buff pullet that is penciled and has black spots on her hackles. I also have a nicely laced blue hen.

for my olive egger project I got: 1 partridge hen, 1 that has a mix of colours: dark red flamed hackles (RIR colour) and a lot of dark brown with black spots and 1 cockerel that looks like bcm, only he has a brown triangle on his wing like weathen marans roo.

I am praying that they will have good health (they came from the chicken market).

I only have the two Birchen pullets. These are the only pictures I have of them. I will try and get more later.

If you lived closer I would share. I am going to have a difficult time culling my Blue Copper cockerels. I know the mean one is going for sure.

I have just got rid of a mean muscovie drake. I loved him but he did not appreciate it. he almost killed a few of my precious ducks (indian runner and chocolate muscovie) and even tried to kill my pair of sebastopol geese. all of them are rare in greece (expensive too).
