I purchased from a very nice lady in Hillsborough, North Carolina. Her farm is called Dragonfly Farms.Where did you purchase from?
I thought it was a girl for the longest time because it has always been the smallest and it got feathers earlier than the chick 1 and 2. If not I can exchange them or trade with a friend I have in Florida that breeds them for show. We are going to go down to Florida in a couple of weeks and she is always hatching new ones.is there any chance that chick 3 is a girl?

I got my first black copper Maran I'm not sure if she's great quality but my sister was hoping to show her any ideas? I got her first few eggs this week and I love them!
Redish on shoulders is mossiness, he's definitely a dude.there are 2 things about #3 chick that makes me think it might be a boy: light colour beak and reddish on the shoulder. on the other hand the photo might not be good, the beak can be black and the chick might be mossy. I hope you will let us know.

I will keep you informedPlease be sure to update us on chick 3 @shelbyw I thought it was a girl too but I’m no expert for sure. Sounds like either way you’ll be fine but I’m sure you’d like to keep one you’ve been raising.
