marked as body type ,dark egg breeder .will be mated to his Dam Dalakhania .

silver cuckoo pullet 9 weeks old .sired by Arnold over Malika .this pair produced correct big and long chooks . happy with them .
this pullet is long ,wide .lovely cuckoo pattern ,gorgeous head ,comb ,eyes and tail .

Marked as Silver cuckoo breeder .will be mated to cockerel from Lucy s line .

hatch down colour .

Eyes colour
head type
comb type

what left now for the next selection is body marking 5/6 month I will know and egg colour /fetility when they atart laying .

the cull I will fatten em up and sale them to my friend the Chinese ,they love eating marans . can t supply them enough. I will not sale them as back yard layer because peoples will breed from them . I don t want that .I will make more money for sure ,but I m not all about money .
will only sale correct SOP marans not cheap .

2 of my hens went broody .last week ,been sitting in they nest boxes for days ,moved them to a shipping container pen and gave them 13 eggs each from DW pen .
one hen got under her eggs from Dalakhania { her chicks will hach blue/Splash .} Unicorn { her chicks will hatch duck wing /wheaten /buff/ white] and Amore BC all her chicks will be BL and Black.
the second hen got eggs from Gazelle BC{ Black /Blue chicks} .Kako DW { White and Blue Black } Wheaten hen .all her chicks will wheaten/buff .
so I will no need to tag those chicks .

I have a friend that sells all her roosters to a guy that eats them. I will ask her if he would want my culls. I dont really want to hold onto the 10 week old culls that long though. I do have a couple friends that want some just for eggs. I always lose lots of money but that doesn't matter. My husband just has to see some coming in from them or he will want me to put in something else. Probably Pheasants. My big want is white peafowl.

usully my cull will pay for the young chicks feed .
the breeders I ll sale they cover the building expenses .

White Peafowl . never had any before ,gorgeous looking birds

Chooksman, I don't think many if any of my Copper chicks had good hatch down color last year. That may be a problem again this year.

we will see if there is any improvement .your chooks are not showing any type of parasitic white? I did not remember seen any white on them .

this year you have less varieties to work with .we can compart the sibling better .all from a same chooks different pairing .we will spot the good ones for sure as long as keep supplying the photos .

No parasitic white so far. That I have seen. There is one BLC hen out there with a white foot feather but not breeding her next year.
