Well, Blaze is about ready to go in the pot!!! He got my husband and now has a large lump and three holes in his leg. I can't believe he did that much damage. We are going to cut his spurs and see if that helps. If he keeps this up he will be soup.

That bad no need this type of rooster. Hope he chill out after his spurs removed.

egg laid by my pullets .from Group#1.2 and #3 .yesterday and today . photos doesn t do them justice . making blue egg look almost white .and marans #4 . they are #5 with great shape OVAL and well dotted with dark spots .

5 months old today .BCM cockerel group#6 youngest group .start crowing well happy about him self .

Dominant white cockerel .group #4 .
White MambaKo
Sire = black Mamba .
Dam = Kako .

great body . type and stand . he got his tail from his Mama kako
happy about him .
I have his half brother both from BM look like him except he is pure black . exact copy of each other .I will say a difference is in they tail shape . White Mambako has a better tail .

Well I don't know how my Incubator got unplugged or how long it was off. Temperature in the Incubator was down to 70 degrees. The basement temperature is 68 degrees where my Incubator is located. Not good but Praying for a good hatch with lots of BC pullets! I have more eggs going into lockdown in a week.

I am not sure what I should do. I have more eggs i could put in but they are from the same three hens & Blaze all 4 batches. Do I just hatch just using Blaze this year? I am thinking of moving Ruby and Jade in with Nimbas but not hatching from them. Then put Violet, Pearl and the two Blcm that are in with Jasper. Put them all in with Blaze. What do you think?

sound good to me . it is good to use Blaze . if he doesn t chill out you can cut his head without loosing the genetic .

I just hope I don't lose Nimbus. I won't have any chicks from him.
