have not been to the farm for 9 days now .doing some repair work on my place in town . going Tuesday .
have been told a lot pullets are laying all sort of different colored eggs . yeah great to hear .can t wait to see them . they are older now ,they don t need much of my attention , they are young chooks not chicks any more .

no worries will be photos of eggs and chooks .don t have work to do down the farm so .i will have time to move some chooks around and take photos .

Well, Blaze is about ready to go in the pot!!! He got my husband and now has a large lump and three holes in his leg. I can't believe he did that much damage. We are going to cut his spurs and see if that helps. If he keeps this up he will be soup.

My first hatch of 2 BC cockerels both mossy and 4 Blcm. I ended up with 5 cockerels and one Blcm pullet.

This egg came from the original roosters pen. Blue Copper hen from last years hatch. As soon as her egg gets to size I will hatch from her.

It is not what you need. Nice if was other way around 5 pullets and 1 cockerel. Next time.
