the amount of photos I had to delete because a few of the bolder Delaware came around to watch what I was doing and pecked the button. LOL Then you had several who climbed on my arms to try to get a better angle to see what was going on. But if I try to change their shavings, I turn into the scary monster they have to flee for their lives from.

Mine are no where that friendly and I had them in my kitchen for some time. Even Black Jack that I kept bringing in the house runs every time I go to catch him to bring him inside. I love it when they are that friendly.

This is the best i could do today getting pictures of her feet legs. Could not get her to square up or stay still if she did. That is the downside to having a lap chicken, she kept wanting up in my lap and was very angry with me when i wouldn't let her get up.

Thank you Chooksman means a lot to me to hear you like them. My biggest worries are parasitic white and mossy. I am going to name Black Jack's brother Ace.

you just worry too much ,you don t have problem . couples of white feathers in some birds is not the end of the world .

Chooksman, we have kept Blaze to make sure we get a good replacement. He is still mean and his time is running out. Here within the week he will be going to freezer camp. Unless you feel that we should keep him longer until these finish growing out. I know you said before I could butcher him but want to make sure. Sad he had to be mean.

I do not like a mean rooster ,can cause trouble to you or your man , he did manage to give you nice progeny ,so he can go .
keep Jasper fit ,don t over work him ,when you finish incubating ,you need to separate him from the hens ,so he can stay fit and healthy ,

this is a good technical photo .both pullets in it .
Daisy has a well colored legs .well spaced , she is a tall big girls .late maturing for sure .she need more depth in the chest area .
2 pullet .is build like a tank . thick and close to the ground ,the way they should be , lovely legs . wide and deep chest . I like her from this photo .I know she hold her tail high .but she has a body type .
I only comment on I see in the photos . so all is depend on the photos .from which angle are taken . many different angles is always better for me to see .

Daisy look good in this photo .long ,tall and elegant ,she is more of a English type { English marans are selected to be clean legged and taller /less wider than French type }.she will be big hen for sure .

my 2 best silver cuckoo pullets .one is sired by Stallone s ,the other by his son Arnold different mother hens .
first one facing the camera is line bred ,sired by Stallone s over his daughter Kako . she is bid ,correct body type and body marking .love her head and feet . named her Kako#2 after her mother who I lost last summer .

the second is sired by Arnold over his half sister Astrology . she is really big and heavy .

both pullets lay nice dark eggs 5/6 .great oval shape and large too .
both will be my foundation breeders for the cuckoo line and Solid Black line.

First they will be bred to the silver cuckoo cockerel .Charlie#3 . to produce pure silver cuckoo line .

Second rooster to breed to is Saharaccas Dark Blue cuckoo brother/half brother to Charlie. they will produce dark cuckoo ,silver cuckoo and Birchen pullets . Blue and Black .

Third rooster to breed to is Black Mamba or one of his sons . to produce solid Black pullets
this cockerel Black Night is my favorite ,plus his sister lay nice dark eggs ,big type .

long breeding project will start this coming spring . September 2020 .
