These 3 Line #1 pullets are growing nicely.

One has dark eyes, one marbled and one correct eye color. I will fix this with a proper eye cockerel.

Tails are big too. But they are nice type i think. And good neck coloring coming in.

16 weeks old now.

This is one of the 2 cockerels from line #2. The other one i couldnt get pictures of. He was dust bathing under the coop.

Their so hard to tell apart. I usually go by their combs but both of their combs are nearly identical.

Hes 12 weeks old now.

Your pullets are gorgeous - nice copper hackles! I wouldn’t about their tail length just yet. They are still young and will grow into their tails as they mature plus they still have their last juvenile molt to go thru.

I was hoping for some opinions on this boy. He was hatched this past spring and I kept him because of his size. The longer I watch him the more think he may be a decent breeder?

they are stunning .lovely long body type and great hackle marking .gorgeous copper too .
tails and the eyes we talk about them later .body type is more important to you in this stage of breeding.
well happy with them 3 . all good .let wait and see what color is they eggs . very important .

don t forget we are looking for breeders not show birds .

he is good just look beaten up . his copper is good but need more of it on his back and lancet .
his stand is good but tall on his legs . how old is he? more growing to do.

look good .
love his light leg feathering type .will help you reduce the leg feathers on line #1.
he seem to have small tail @ good angle ,but still too early to tell .

he has a great head . his comb need to be refine but the rest all correct .eyes/wattle/beak etc............
