@Punkybrewster in this photo from MS chicks I can see the 2 chicks in front with a early feathering type and very long body low to the ground ,are you sure they are MS chicks ,because they look pullets to me and good one too .
we want to establish if MS is a pullets Dam or Cockerels Dam or she can throw both type ( very rare )

I was very careful to mark their eggs, bag them seperately, and leg bands as they came out of the incubator. No chance of a mix up.

I do believe the slow feathering chicks are cockerels but I will check tomorrow.
usualy are but not always .
if the sire is sllow feathering type and a Dam early feathering type than the chicks will be mixtype ,not sex linked via they feathering .
if the Sire is a early feathering type and the Dam is sllow feathering type than they can be sex linked through they feathering type .all cockerel will be slow feathering type like the Dam and all pullets will be early feathering type like they Sire

Moved the 11 pullets to a larger pen. I spent a lot of time last night putting them up on the roost over and over again.
They finally stayed.

I've never had an issue with birds sleeping in a corner and not roost!
I will have to go out at dark again tonight and repeat it.

Here are better photos of the pullets.
Mr. Good comb sire, 3 or 4 darkest egg laying hens.

Just an update... grand total is 6. 3 OE and 3 BCM. Had to rush to finish her brooder to get her out of coop. (Space issue, im working on it)
But got her and babies out of the elevated nest box and on the floor seperate but can still see flock and King.
I had an oh shit moment with the clear bowl tipping over and trapping a little one so that's since gone.
