I have a long way to go to understand the genetics of this!
very simple my friend .
her father is a recessive white over a Wheaten based . So genetically he is Ewh/Ewh. s+/s+ .mean he will passe his Golden gene to all his progeny boys/girls .
her mama is a Birchen hen ,so she is ER/ER. S/-. only one copy of Silver . mean she only can passes this single copy to her sons NOT daughters .
when this 2 are matted together they ll give this result .
Because ER is Dominant than Ewh all the progeny are ER/Ewh but they all look ER .( mean blacK)
the pullets will get they s+ from they father ( White Storm ) so they are ER/Ewh. s+/- ,c/C+.Black copper split white ( they carry only one copy of the White gene)
the cockerels will get s+ from they father and S( silver ) from they mother . So they are impure Black copper split white .
when this 2 F1 progeny are matted together they ll produce 25% White, some will be silver based and others Golden based .
I m after the Silver based progeny .
I matted White Storm with 5 hens .his half sister . one Blue copper , .one Black copper and 2 Birchen . trying to spread the white gene over a wider population .so I can have some genetic diversity .
