My last hen is beautiful and feminine. I want that type. She's a nice bird.
Honestly a source closer to home was the biggest draw of these birds. The photos of them don't show enough to be sure of the rest of their build. They look okay, but not phenomenal.
I'm trying to go back to the original source of my birds.
Long story short my roo was sterile and one of my hens was eaten by a fox. I only had one fertile hen to work with last year. I culled my senior roo last fall and kept the sterile one.
I've got one stunning hen and that's it.
I'd like more. Id like birds that lay better but I want them to quality.
