Here are some pics of my youngest group. They are from the same parent stock as Redbanks. I have 1 pullet and 3 roos in this group but hopefully I get a better hatch rate from my next set of eggs from the breeder. As they get older I will get better pics. They are almost 8 weeks old.

Yep they look just like my babies. Im hoping one of my boys looks as good as your #1 roo. That would make my heart sing. Glad we are a Marans family! Lol

Exactly what the standard described .. great body type. the black on her is stunning . just great that all what i can say.

they are Black .really black free from sheen only in the upper body and wings . feathers well tucked in close to the body. free from fluff .

I'm so jealous of all of you with these chicks. I'm too scared to raise them in this heat, perhaps when we get a bit cooler temps I'll pull the trigger on some eggs.

I told you I ll get you some pure BCM eggs to hatch and start your line when Available .

summer is too hot can be risky plus no many good eggs left end of the season the breeders are tired .

next season january 2017 is a great time to start . So you have a plenty of time to get your pens and yard sorted for them .you will have nice eggs sent to you guaranty .
