there is 40 in this first group . aging from 4 and half to 5 and half month old .

they are handsome boys! are they keepers?

do they fight each other? I would like to have a boys coop but they would be next to the girls so I don't think they would stay there. they could fly over to the girls.

This group looks to have very good type, tail sets and color. The copper on your BCMs and BLCMs is rich and vibrant. The one Birchen has very nice silver color. You've dome well!

Very nice! Can I have the Blue Copper? Send him packing with his bags. He will need a big lunch and a map. It's a long flight!!!

yeah they are all keepers tell I test mate them and see what they ll throw as progeny .
this year I m trying to keep at lease 100 roosters ( all variety ).

the cockerels fence has to be high , 5 or 6 feet , just wire at the top ,nothing solid ,so they can t see the top . if they don t see the top ,they don t jump .

I like my cockerels pen as much as a pullet pen .
the cockerels pen is named the arena . they do not fight because there is a White Storm a rooster with them .he keep the order .

yes I m well pleased with them .
great body type
nice long back
great tail ( shape and angle) most of them
gorgeous body marking and vibrant color
lovely colored eyes
most of them are with feathered shank.

plus they are well mannered

you are alright ,the birchen have a clean pure Silver well pleased ,they are the F4 ( took me 4 generation of breeding and selecting to achieve it .well marked and pure silver on them

I keep telling you guys ,we don t need a faultless stock to start breeding to achieve the Standard . just time ,multiplying and selecting as we go .

I m working on my export papers ,when I get them I can send you some fertile eggs .

That would be Awsome! He is a nice rooster. That would be a long trip and I would probably end up with scrambled eggs! What line is Samir and Sofie from? I think my two biggest problems is the parasitic white popping up and not enough Copper. I think!

another question: do they try to mate each other? I had that issue with the young cockerel who is a happy lover now. I gave him to a person who likes to experiment with the strange/unusal chickens and the cockerel was an araucana mix.

Samir and Sofie are from a old line Dominant white gene over a Splash and blue copper marans . so both are almost white chooks .
this line been in isolation for 18 years the day I got them 2 years ago . but I think a lot fence jumping has happen in those long years .few thing been added to them . have to breed them out .

the parasitic white is going to take a white to breed out .but it possible ,just be passion and take record plus photos of your hatching chicks .
and the copper you only need one bird with a nice rich copper so you can breed from him or her .
