unfortunately she has never started laying. she hatched in march or april. is there any hope that she will lay? she had some health issue, not as bad, and lice too. the other 2 pullets that are about a month or two younger than her lay.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. ;)

I think she is stunning .

I m going to add to them the feathered shanks ,Mass and Rose comb. I recon they will be the best in show .

I know RedBanks you are going to disagree with me .but wait tell you ll see my creation .they have to be pure white too and Silver based .

Chooks man
I will reserve judgement. Sounds intriguing..... but it is a little like dressing up a turkey buzzard.

Well, I think she is Beautiful! Might want to make her a scarf though. She looks sweet and I would have her spoiled.

I always thought they made naked necks so people would have a visual when they aim the axe.

It's been months since I've been able to get some good pics of Chester. His comb took a hit during the cold spell. I'm thinking he will lose more of it too. He sure is a big boy. I can't wait for a broody so I can get him some ladies more his size. Kinda scared for his favorite little cream Legbar.

How do y'all think he grew up? 6 months old now.
Question: does anyone else's marans strut like a Tennessee walker? Every single step. Foot comes all the way up to his chest then carefully put back down. None of my other chickens do that. Not my bantam Cochin. Not my cuckoos. None of em.

Well I guess I can't complain anymore about the cold. I could be in Siberia where it is currently 88 below zero.

I don't think Tony2 has frostbite. I think he has been fighting with Antonio.
They would never get me to go to Siberia! NEVER! If I could talk my husband into it we would move to a warmer climate. I have been having trouble with my roosters fighting. I hope they work it out soon or I may rehome one of them.

I lived in Alaska when I was a young girl. It hadn't even been a state very long. I liked it but what did I know, I was young and not driving, working.... etc.
