I just had to share the eggs. I've already hatched as many as I can for now, so I'll have to eat these beautiful eggs. But they are just so nice.View attachment 1766447
She hatched from nice dark eggs, although I only for sure know her father is Mr Big and her dam is blue or splash, there are 5 splash hens and 4 blue hens possibly. So far 8 whites have resulted, and the plans are to build lots more pens. I'm really liking them.
This is prime suspect at the moment for the search for the pretty egg layer. Remember that funny colored Blue Copper pullet? Well she is believed to be a Blue Silver Cuckoo now.
She is now in with the one hen that hurt her leg. Her leg is better now. Thoughts about using this girl for those beautiful eggs?

I hope I get a good one! Let me know next year and I will send you some eggs. Please remind me next spring because my memory is not very good. I have so many things going all the time.They are gorgeous!! I may need to get some blue copper eggs from you when you get your cockerel.![]()
Looks like I have one Black Copper cockerel and one pullet. That's my guess anyway.![]()
@marchick
this hen is impure Blue golden cuckoo . she is impressive .she ll be very good to breed a Black and a Blue copper . not a silver type .
I do love every thing about this hen ,specially her correct body type ,correct back and a faultless tail .
