they all have a same trait .long high tails .
some pullets have a stunning hackle marking .

This is true. This line #1 has become a mess. Line #2 is looking like it has more potential.

they still young to tell .they will change many time over till they reach maturity . all chooks look bad between the age of 3/5 months .

yes 2 day of spring 2020. breeding season start but I m not ready for it .too many other thing to do . plus I m waiting fr all my pullets to pass a year old .so I can breed them ,Early summer .

rented a second farm ,so I ll be doing some work to it to get it ready for a summer breeding .
I want to separate the breeders flocks from the hatchling and the young . old farm is for the young stock . the new farm will be for the breeders .
I have soo many order for fertile marans eggs and young/breeders stock . I have peoples been waiting for 2 to 3 years for they marans .they only want to buy from me . lot to do .

Your reputation is very good. Thats why you have that long of a waiting list.

Its smart to have 2 farms and separation of the breeders and the young ones. It keeps order and makes sense. Just a lot more work but it is surly worth it.

I found out was very hard to keep the breeders flock and the young one in a same farm . because I m 100% free ranging . cross contamination when feeding and doing a daily work . lost a lot of youngster this time .not good for my business . it is a reason why so many peoples are still in a waiting list .

for the photos ,you guys have to wait a little more .too busy haven t seen my chooks for 9 days now .

Cross contamination can decimate a flock. I know.

Hoping everything goes smoothly with fixing up the new farm and moving the breeders over. You have your hand full and im sure you will make it a wonderful place for them.
