I moved the chicks out to a house yesterday. I went back out to check on them and 1 BC chick was dead. I am down to 12 chicks. There was a crack between the wood and bricks. I think the chick got close to the crack and the chickens on the other side got it. It was 100% fine a hour or so ago. Bummer for sure!

That bad sorry for that to happen.

Very nice comb, pretty face, lovely coloring too. That little fold in her wattle is just her "beauty mark".

i see what are you talking about ,the fold on here wattle .I have few hens and rooster with a similar fault .

Can't tell who's who yet. There was 4 each of Marans and EE eggs. She's very protective, not as trusting of my hand like Joannie was. Would these be considered F2 ??
