ok, now I've just got to know. Nifty or the1much, please tell me: was I an unwitting troll according to my response / post ??? Was I sucked into a drama which I would have been better off to have avoided, even though I was only trying to inject a bit of "cooling-off" sentiment into a heavily loaded scene? huh? huh? huh?

IMO you can *usually* tell a troll because there's always something a little "off" with their postings.

the IRONY of beth trolling or fake trolling or whatever she was doing -- on the troll informational posting -- is too much for me!

Beth, Nifty is an intellegent guy who loves to mess with us. I'd like to
think of it as smart stimulation. He tries to be SO SERIOUS but you know
