Intestinal shed? Not an emergency...

1st two and last photo look like cecal droppings on top of normal droppings, so normal. Color and consistency can vary, and they are usually stinkier. There is intestinal shed in the middle photos. When this is occasional I don't worry about it. When it becomes more than occasional I treat. Sometimes a load of worms can cause intestinal shed also. Is getting a fecal test done possible for you? That would save from treating something that isn't there. We have mail in options here also: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000J5SOZ...colid=27RHKHAM35GO&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
Would be good for a check in a non-emergency. Worm loads vary in different environments. Droppings like that in my flock are usually roundworms, and after treatment it clears up.
So this would basically be fairly normal considering the recent treatment for coccidiosis? Probably not much to worry about unless it starts getting worse?

I don’t know how thrilled my vet would be at my bringing in yet more chicken poop... I’m going to need to spend another $600-800 on my cats pretty soon to placate him! I’m just picturing me shipping chicken poop to the USA for testing too. Last time I went through the border there were some questions about will I be visiting any farms down there and if I was bringing anything from the farm with me... :hmm suspicious border guards much?

I would wonder about those second lot of photos... they would concern me.. but, I am a worrier too so that doesn't mean much. Sorry I can't be more helpful!

Me too! That’s why I’m fussing so much over their poop. When I first saw the bloody poops in with my tiny little sapphires at a couple weeks old I was shocked, then they went away, then came back, and so on... everyone was alert and healthy and normal. Then one of my older girls (my favorite little cuddler) suddenly died and there was bloody poop in with them.

Lack of a Vet that will treat chickens makes it more difficult as well... I spent the whole morning calling vets before I broke down and sort of guilted my cats vet into doing the fecal float for me. They are awesome people and really love and care for all animals, “But they are not a Farm vet! So don’t go telling everyone they did this for me.” Or they will likely get swamped with desperate chicken mamas and they aren’t the types to not help an animal in need. Apparently it’s a slippery slope to accidentally becoming a farm vet!

I'm glad that you were able to beg them into doing a test for you. I understand the frustration. I don't even ask mine anymore, they act disgusted. I don't understand the reluctance at all, it's the same test for any animal, so why it matters that it's a chicken I just can't fathom. In my case, I KNOW I have a worm issue, been dealing with it for a long time, so when I see symptoms I just treat. Let us know how it turns out. I also think that the second set of pictures shows a lot of intestinal shed, so I would be looking for a reason if it were my flock.
