Hello, we have a four year old female emden goose named Lucie. Shes been laying eggs for about three years now. We would like to introduce her to a baby chicken with the hope that she will believe its her baby. We thought maybe we can give her one of her eggs (we have plenty in the fridge) and she'll sit on the egg for some time, then swap the egg for the baby. Is this an okay idea? Please give us your thoughts. Thank you!

Welcome to BYC! I would assume that, like chickens, geese need to be broody to sit on and incubate eggs, let alone accept adopted babies. With chickens, you would want this broody behavior to have lasted 2-3 weeks before attempting introducing baby chicks.
