Introducing ducks to pond

Once you let your ducks go to your pond most likely you'll find out what preds you have. on the ground and under water. Snapping turtles are big predators of water fowl.
Ahh thank you for bringing that up! I know I have a fairly large snapper in the pond! I didn’t even think of that as a pred!

I’ve tried treats with them and they just stare at me lol
What kind of treats? They have to know how tasty they are first. I am training my ducks to follow me a little bit at a time. Then everyday, I am going farther with them. One thing I was told was that you actually round them up from behind and guide them with a stick or your arms. They follow the direction of the stick. Look up you tube herding ducks. You will find a very cool video of a guy herding hundreds of ducks at the same time.
