Introducing my younger chicks with my older ones.

So yesterday I introduced my 5 chicks which are 9 weeks old to my flock which contains only 3 hens. All of them did well except one of the older ones which I have separated. My my chicks are very nervous and jumpy will they eventually calm down?
When I would through scratch grain the younger ones wouldn’t even go by the older ones as if they were scared, they are never by the older ones except at night when perching there all huddled together will they eventually get used to the older hens enough to come and eat with them?

In my experience, they will eventually become more comfortable with each other and join together to form one flock. It just takes a little bit for everybody to get used to each other. Mine have always been like that at first too.
