Introduction and Question

I have 3 Cubalaya that I have raised from 2 days old. They are about 11 weeks old. They are black breasted reds. I have no idea if they are hens or cocks. Does anyone have a picture of a full grown hen? They have no spurs growing but I read there are some that don't have them. I want hens not cocks. Are the hens very plain? Thanks so very much.

Tomorrow perhaps. It is nighttime here right now. They don't stand ccx stil very long though. These can really fly unlike my orpingtojs and reds.

Okay, they were hiding under the coop so pics aren't the greatest. Again they are 11 almost 12 weeks. Roos or hens?

100% cockerels, sorry. In the black breasted red variety it's very easy to sex them because females never have the black breast

I feared this answer. They are beautiful but they gotta go. I have 5 hens and 1 other cockerel. It will be an out and out war zone out there. Dang it anyhow!

They are beautiful though! They're on my list of breeds I would like to own someday. Game birds are beautiful

I feel your disappointment. However, you now have gained eleven weeks of this breed experience. It will go better next time.
