Welcome to the coop! I use the Forums and Articles tabs at the top of the page to do research. You can get lost for hours. It's nice to know you are minutes away from getting help with questions and emergencies! I always check in the "What's New" section as well at the top of this page. This way I can read how I may have a similar question or help give some advice.

Not exactly, we had chickens when I was young. I just got some new chicks 8 weeks ago I remember how fun they were.

I have been married for 35 years have two beautiful talented smart daughters, and three beautiful grand babies one girl and two boys. A Pomeranian, cat and two rescue grand pups both boys. Jameson age 5 years & Hudson age 8 months old.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D

I found BYC by googling a question and you popped up.

My question: I got three chicks and I soon noticed that their beaks had different markings on one of them. They are now 8 weeks old and I’m praying that they are all hens, however I’m concerned I might have a Roo. 😲 I live in city limits and cannot have one 😔 I’m hoping I’m wrong.
